Is Facebook Down: Facebook not working for you?

Facebook not working for you?

Facebook not working for you? You are not alone. Vast numbers of users have complained of a social network outage this afternoon. Independent outage monitor Downdetector has registered over 470 reports at one time from Facebook fans insisting it’s not working properly. As you expect, users have migrated to Twitter to express their disappointment over the outage.

One said: “Thought I was going insane but alas, no, it's just a Facebook down!

“Needed to come to Twitter to regain my sanity! I suppose Thanksgiving wishes will need to be done the old-fashioned way!”

Another tweeted:  "Anyone else having trouble with Instagram or Facebook being down?

Users complained that the social network broke at the same time as Instagram, which is owned by the same company. WhatsApp, which is owned by the same company, was not affected by the issues.

According to the website Down Detector, a large number of people complained about the problem. The issue was seen worldwide, but not everyone was affected.

Many Facebook users said they were able to get on the site normally, but significant parts of its functionality were broken. For example, sharing new posts involves.

Facebook Messenger, which is part of the Facebook platform, but exists as a separate app, was also affected by the problems.

Many Facebook users have posted images of an error screen while trying to log in on the social network. One said Facebook was down for maintenance, while another said an "unexpected error" had occurred.

The first message said: “Facebook will be back soon. Facebook is down for required maintenance right now, but you should be able to get back on within a few hours.”
The other stated: “Login failed. Sorry, an unexpected error occurred. Please try again later.”

Facebook has not yet commented on the outage. But the social network is not the only huge app to be plagued with problems this afternoon. It seems that Instagram is also down with thousands of reporting issues.
